The Parish Council always meets in the Village Hall on a Tuesday evening; nowadays this meeting is usually preceded by a ’surgery’ at which individual councillors receive any queries, problems etc. from the public on a one-to-one basis.
The frequency of Council meetings depends on the workload but is rarely less than every 6-8 weeks; the main exception is during the summer when August is usually kept free of meetings.
The general public are entitled and welcome to attend all meetings, and we try to fix the dates 2-3 months ahead.
The formal notification is via the Ticknall Parish Council Notice Board on the Harpur Crewe Estate Office wall opposite the Old Post Office (although you will probably see it here first).
