Here at the Ticknall Archaeological Research Group, we really do dig Ticknall, and we are hysterical about history. What's more, we are absolutely potty about pottery, so we started the Ticknall Archaeological Research Group in 2009.

Thanks to the efforts of Janet Spavold and Sue Brown, we got off to a flying start by securing substantial funding for a three year project to excavate important pottery sites in the Ticknall area. We will additionally be supported by the National Trust and Archaeological Project Services.
