St George’s is the parish church for Ticknall, much used by those who live locally for baptisms, weddings, funerals, Christmas and Easter services, Harvest Thanksgivings, Remembrances Sunday services, and much else besides.

It has a marvellous acoustic, and is a sought-after venue for concerts.

Sunday worship is generally at 9.15 a.m. (3rd Sunday, family service at 10.30 a.m.).

There is an excellent ring of bells and a strong and sizeable choir.  Worship blends the traditional and the modern.  Refreshments are served after worship and a warm welcome is offered to all in the community.
