The main purpose of the Scarecrow Trail is to have an annual event in the Village which is inclusive for everyone, young and all. We are very lucky in that there are many clubs, societies, groups etc based and meeting regularly in the Village that involve local people but not one single event that everyone can contribute and enjoy. Having visited other Village Scarecrow Trails I believed that we could host one also in Ticknall, the first being 2008.
