Plans for the continuing growth of Ticknall Life include a doubling of staff numbers during 2010.
This means that there is a requirement for one person to help with the website.
Duties can include research, copy writing, editorial, correspondence, photography, picture editing, publishing articles to the Ticknall Life website or helping contributors to get their stuff onto the site, and website maintenance duties such as editing existing articles or updating the What's On diary.
Requirements
Candidates will have an advantage if they can demonstrate that they
- Have a love of South Derbyshire
- Have a passion for the web
- Can string a few words together to form a sentence
- Have the ability to use a spellchecker
- Have a desire to learn about publishing
- Have strong Ticknall connections
- Are aged between nine and ninety nine
- Are able to provide their own office equipment
- Are prepared to work for nowt
