Parish Council Meetings

The Parish Council always meets on a Tuesday evening; nowadays this meeting is usually preceded by a ’surgery’ at which councillors take it in turns to receive any queries, problems etc. from the public on a one-to-one basis. The frequency of Council meetings depends on the workload but is rarely less than every 6-8 weeks; the main exception is during the summer when August is usually kept free of meetings. The general public are entitled and welcome to attend all meetings, and we try to fix the dates 2-3 months ahead. The formal notification is via the Ticknall Parish Council Notice Board on the Harpur Crewe Estate Office wall (opposite the Old Post Office).
