Police, firefighters and ambulance crews were in attendance after three vehicles were involved in a collision today on the A514 road to Ticknall outside Stanton by Bridge.
The vehicles were a Ford Transit minibus, a Peugeot and a BMW. The accident happened at about 9.30 am.
The driver of the BMW, a 42-year-old man from Overseal, was cut free from the vehicle by firefighters.
The driver of the minibus, a 65-year-old man from Hartshorne, and one of his passengers, a 52-year-old from Midway, were also injured.
The road remained closed until mid afternoon.
