Ticknall Art Group held a Spring Exhibition of work in the Village Hall on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th February, postponed from early December on account of very adverse weather conditions. On this occasion the weather, although not good, did not prevent a good attendance on both days.
Many visitors took the opportunity to support our work and at the same time take home examples of inexpensive local art.
The group currently numbers eleven and its work was displayed in the big committee room – the usual weekly venue for the group.
The group looks forward to another day course on 17 March with local artist Laura Donaldson, which will provide inspiration for future art work.
