The appointment of the Rev Dr Mark Powell as the next vicar for the Melbourne group of parishes has been announced. Mark is currently the vicar of St. Peter's Church in Ealing (Diocese of London). It is expected that he will take up his new post in the summer.
Mark writes: "I am absolutely delighted by my appointment as the new vicar and all the challenges and opportunities it will offer. Helen and I look forward to moving to Melbourne's beautiful vicarage and garden, and working with the people of the four parishes in the benefice. We'll let you know when we have moved in, and hope you'll come and say hello to us, so we can meet at least some of you before I start work."
